Heat Exchangers

A heat exchanger is a system used to transfer heat between a source and a working fluid. Heat exchangers are used in both cooling and heating processes. The fluids may be separated by a solid wall to prevent mixing or they may be in direct contact.

Industrial Heat Exchangers

A heat exchanger is a device that enables effective heat energy transfer between two mediums without them mixing. It heats or cools something by transferring the heat energy through the process of conduction. For example, to keep a car engine cool.

Air preheaters, economizers, evaporators, superheaters, condensers, and cooling towers used in a power plant are a few examples of heat exchangers.
